Culture and Travel Writer
Sam Cohen is a freelance writer and editor based in the Greater Boston area. She is currently serving as a creative writer and social media manager for Your Best Fashion Finds, a travel writer for The Discoverer, Fareportal, and JacknFerdi, and a features journalist for 1883 Magazine. Her body of work covers a wide range of topics from pop culture to literature to travel tips and fashion trends. Previously the lead content writer and deputy editor for a company specializing in SEO content, Sam has drafted recreational licensing guides, literary catalogs, and informative articles for clients across the U.S.
She has written nonfiction personal essays for Medium where she covers cultural topics such as film and television suggestions, relationship advice, mental health, and friendship. Sam currently contributes essays on writing, author interviews, and book reviews to the Write or Die Tribe literary community.
When she’s not writing, Sam enjoys reading, going for long walks, and drinking strong coffee. She is currently teaching herself new languages, working on her portfolio of writing and editing, and dabbling in third-person descriptions.
