Sam is the host of the interview-based podcast Heart To Heart, where she speaks with actors, musicians, photographers, writers, directors, and many others about their lives and careers. She also serves as an Editorial Product Manager and writer for Courier Newsroom.

Sam writes bi-monthly newsletters for the indie-folk band Sleep Walking Animals, and serves as a features journalist for Boys By Girls Magazine.

Previously, she worked for Static Media, where she served as a full-time news editor for their women's lifestyle brand The List. She edited, and occasionally authored, daily articles on an array of topics including pop culture, health & wellness, beauty, style, astrology, home improvement, the British royal family, and more. In addition to her writing and editorial work for the publication, Sam completed exclusive interviews and breakout articles for The List.

She also served as a features journalist for 1883 Magazine, House of Solo Magazine, and Pentagon Magazine, where she profiled notable actors and musicians for the print and digital facets of each publication.

Priding herself on her ability to create a comfortable atmosphere with everyone she interviews, Sam is a passionate conversationalist who strives for familiarity. Chatting about everything from the balancing act required to tackle multiple roles at once with Alison Brie, to art history with Russell Tovey, to character choice with Kate Phillips, each interview is reflective of her ability to lead from a place of connection and compassion.

In the past, she has been the social media manager for Your Best Fashion Finds, a travel writer for The Discoverer, and a culture writer for several digital publications, including Medium and The Attic on Eighth, where she discussed literature, film and television, relationships, and mental health.

Sam has also contributed essays on writing, author interviews, and book reviews to Write or Die Magazine.

When she’s not writing, Sam enjoys reading, going for long walks, and drinking iced coffee. She is currently taking screenwriting classes, working on her portfolio, and dabbling in third-person descriptions.
